Village of Lansing Attains CSC Bronze Certification

We are pleased to announce that the Village of Lansing has been awarded the NYS DEC Climate Smart Communities (CSC) bronze-level certification for 2025. CSC certified 16 Village actions in 7 categories for a total of 125 points to attain the bronze level.

The Village began working toward this certification in February 2020 with the participation of trustees, staff members, community representatives, and Climate Smart Communities Coordinators from Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County.
